As turmeric and its active constituents are fat soluble, HydroCurc®'s use of novel delivery system LipiSperse® dramatically increases the dispersion of lipophilic ingredients in these aqueous environments, and therefore increases absorption levels. Poor or inadequate absorption robs the body from maximising the positive benefits curcumin has to offer.

Repulsive forces between the particles prevent agglomeration or aggregation: allowing HydroCurc® to have proper particle dispersion, curcumin can now disperse freely. The Accurate Measure of Bioavailability

The only scientifically accurately way to measure and compare absorption, is to look at the level of curcuminoids in blood plasma. Reviewing published studies from other comparative bioavailable curcumin products on the market, HydroCurc®, supported by a human pharmacokinetic study shows 807 ng/mL curcuminoids in blood plasma. The next best only achieves 200ng-250ng/mL.

HydroCurc®’s enhanced bioavailability is scientifically validated through a human cross-over pharmacokinetic study.

HydroCurc®’s pharmacokinetic study consisted of eighteen healthy volunteers who participated in this equivalent dose, randomised, double blinded study. Seven volunteers further participated in the crossover phase. In both the parallel and crossover trial, HydroCurc® delivered significantly higher plasma curcuminoid concentrations compared to the raw curcumin product (807 vs 240ng/mL in the crossover trial).

Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness and Postexercise Lactate Accumulation.

The purpose of this randomized double-blind placebo-controlled study was to assess the effect of curcumin (combined with LipiSperse®, a novel drug delivery system) when consumed.

Efficacy of curcumin supplementation is traditionally limited due to its poor bioavailability. Despite this, curcumin has previously been shown to improve biomarkers of muscle damage.

HydroCurc® taken with FS iron is shown to increase serum BDNF levels.

The clinical trial, administered by the University of Westminster and Coventry University, found individuals who were administered HydroCurc® and ferrous sulphate (a low-dose iron) supplement experienced a significant increase in BDNF, which has been described as an important neurotrophic factor contributing to learning and memory.

The second study conducted by the University of Westminster has demonstrated that supplementation of HydroCurc® with Ferrous Sulphate, regardless of dose, does not negatively influence acute iron absorption in healthy adults.
